3.1 : Behaviour definition :

A behavior is a set of knowledge, attitudes, beliefs, opinions, perceptions and practices in response to his / her past experience and or a stimulation coming from the environment.

A behaviour linked to health is an action achieved  by an individual having  a  + or - effect on health  ( Example: Condom use  during sexual intercourse with a casual sexual  partner )= a positive behaviour  with a + effect  on health. Behaviour is therefore an observable action .

Note that the majority of behaviours linked to health are adopted for other reasons and not only for reasons linked to health. Thus, do not believe that Behaviour change is only for health reasons.

We can change behaviour related to health for social reasons and others. For example: The sport practice can be explained by the desire to belong to a group and or also for physical appearance reasons rather than for health reasons.
