GIS6265 Biodiversity Modelling

This module will equip environmental students with knowledge on the importance of biodiversity conservation in Rwanda and Central Africa referring to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CDB), national laws and policies on biodiversity and environmental conservation. The module also aims at applying skills of spatial modelling in optimizing protected areas conservation, designing ecological corridors and Land Use Zoning (LUZ) for biodiversity conservation.
