PCT6215: MA THESIS

Brief description of aims and content

Each student will write a master thesis. The master thesis will be defended at a special seminar with participation of the examiner and other graduate students. A thesis will be written and defended on individual basis. Students are expected to choose a topic related to one of the theoretical modules. Theoretical approaches are then to be fetched from the main courses. The students are also requested to collect data choosing a method adequate for the research problem in focus. The Lecturers will suggest some topics for MA thesis writings; students themselves will suggest some topics. It is recommended that subjects of thesis include at least one aspect of conflict, economic and peace related matters within the Great Lakes Region.
