Having successfully completed the module, students should be able to:
- Describe the basic concepts and theories of spatial planning;
- Place the spatial planning concepts and theories in a coherent framework;
- Apply these concepts and theories for the analysis of spatial planning problems;
- Read and analyze the provided texts on urban planning independently and critically;
Application of Knowledge
Having successfully completed the module, students should be able to:
- Apply the concepts, theories of spatial planning in real problem of spatial planning in Rwanda;
- Identify a specific planning problem in neighbourhoods of the community;
- Elaborate a plan to solve the identified problem through the major steps of the simplified planning process;
