Enrolment options
This is a combined module that aims at equipping the students with the knowledge of the normal and abnormal formation, development as well as the normal microscopic appearance of the different human body tissues and organs. The students shall be able to relate the developmental and histological structure of the tissues and organs to their function, disease and medical research. The module provides a foundation for the understanding of gross anatomy and pathology of the human body. The specific systematic embryology, will be covered in the Gross Anatomy modules dealing with Cardiovascular system, respiratory system, digestive system, urogenital system, nervous system, limbs, head and neck anatomy. The module will involve student-led sessions and formal lectures.
