PHT1151:General anatomy and physiology/ endocrine system

Hello,

This course covers the basic science of the human endocrine system anatomy and physiology that is required for anyone in the health science field.

It does not go into detailed structure and function of different hormones and it does not also cover the clinical aspect of the human endocrine system.

This course covers the following glands:

1. Hypothalamus and pituitary gland
2. Pineal gland
3. Thymus
4. Thyroid and parathyroid glands
5. Adrenal glands
6. The pancreas
7. Gonads

However, the gonads will be covered in details in the urogenital system.
