Information Technology in healthcare

This unit is an introduction to the discipline of Health Informatics and the scope of the program.

It covers a number of basic concepts in Health Informatics and ensures that the students from different background have the opportunity to share perceptions of Health and Medical Informatics. Particularly, The integration of health information technology (HIT) into primary care which includes a variety of electronic methods that are used to manage information about people's health and health care, for both individual patients and group of patients.
