GNU2153: MEDICAL SURGICAL NURSING

This module aims at providing learners with the knowledge, skills and attitudes to care for adult patients with medical and surgical conditions.

It emphasizes on effective utilization of nursing process to provide holistic assessment and care to the clients and facilitate them in restoration of optimum health.

It deals with specific nursing skills or procedures necessary to care for ill patients and overview of anesthesia and resuscitation will be covered.

It will also equip students with knowledge on different drugs to treat those pathological conditions.
