Introduction of the module:
- What is modern movement?
- What is modernist? What is feminism?
- Neo-Classicism art and Romanticism- Artists and their artwork e.g. Visual arts paintings sculpture and architecture
- The origin of modern art
- Characteristics romanticism.
- Why did romanticism arise?

Activity 1: The tutor will make introductory remarks, introduction of the module and the syllabus.
Activity 2: You will go and read about modernism and its origins what movement did modernism replace
