    • We are excited to begin this learning journey with you as you explore different types of laptops and portable devices, their features, components, functions, and their use in everyday life and workplaces. Through this course, you will also learn basic skills for handling, maintaining, and troubleshooting these devices. Please read all learning materials carefully, participate in discussions and activities, submit your assignments on time, and feel free to ask for support whenever needed.       Write and post your response in not more than 200 words. Your response should clearly answer all the questions and include relevant examples where necessary.

      1. Identify the hardware components found in both laptop and desktop computers.
      2. Explain at least two similarities between laptop and desktop hardware components.
      3. Describe at least two differences between laptop and desktop hardware components.
      4. In your opinion, which device is more suitable for a student studying from home and why?

    • In this activity, you will watch a short video about the differences between cell phones, smartphones, PDAs and tablets. The video will pause at key moments and ask you questions 
      to check your understanding. Answer each question before the video continues.

      After completing the video, go to the forum and post your response to the question.

    • After watching the interactive video, post your response to the following question:

      "Based on what you watched, which device would you recommend for a student in Rwanda: a smartphone, a tablet, or a PDA. and why? Give at least two reasons."
