To enable the learner to understand the different arthritic, pathological and soft tissues orthopedic conditions and relate them to the principles of physiotherapy management/rehabilitation. To equip the learner with understanding and skills on the principles of physiotherapy management and rehabilitation of different arthritic conditions, soft tissue conditions, congenital and acquired deformities. The trainee will be able to apply and perform techniques of assessment and management of different orthopedic conditions.
The purpose of this course is to enable the students to understand different neurological conditions, their assessment and management.
This module provides to a student knowledge, skills and understanding on Neurological conditions of the central nervous system affecting human movement including Stroke,Traumatic brain injury,Multiple Sclerosis and Spinal Cord Pathologies such as traumatic spinal cord injury lastly it will also cover Peripheral Nerve Pathologies such as facial nerve pasly among others.A set of practice skills will be gained through this module to be able to manage this conditions.
