This course is to familiarize learners with basic knowledge in anatomy, physiology, common diseases/ conditions involving cardiac, pulmonary and vascular systems, as well as the various types of interventions for treatment. There will be an emphasis on conducting appropriate physiotherapy examination and evaluation as well as providing interventions for better prognosis, and outcomes for patients with cardiopulmonary disease.
This module is for 2nd year Physiotherapy students. The aim is to enable learners to understand orthopedics conditions (fractures) and the principles of assessment and management of traumatic and orthopedic conditions.
This module equip the learner with understanding and skills of pain theories and modulation applied for physiotherapy conditions, it covers the principles and application of different mobilization techniques and electro-physical modalities used in physiotherapy treatment.
