The primary objective of this course is to introduce the basic principles, techniques, and applications of Artificial Intelligence., including a a historical perspective of AI and its foundations, familiarity with basic principles of AI toward problem solving, inference, perception,knowledge representation, and learning. The course also aims to investigate some applications of AI techniques as well as explore the current scope, potential, limitations, and implications of intelligent systems.
English for Specific Purposes is an English course for year one students. It deals with English Grammar in matter of parts of Speech and Communication Skills in Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing. Students will be able to master grammar in use and communication skills. They will end up the Academic year 2018/2019 being able to deal with grammatical issues and communication ones i.e parts of speech(Nouns, Pronouns, Prepositions,...Interjection and Reading, Speaking, Listening and Writing techniques).At the end of each term, students will be given assessment tests and final test for promotion in the following Academic year.
In this Java course, you will learn more in-depth concepts and syntax of the Java Programming language. Throughout this course, you will learn by building examples using the Ellipse IDE, which is supplied as a Learning Sandbox. Completion of this course gives you a basic understanding of Object-Oriented techniques in Java.
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Demonstrate knowledge of basic algorithm constructs in Java.
- Develop and compile Java applications that utilize primitive data types, statements, expressions, and GUIs.
- Output and manipulate strings, fonts, and numbers.
- Apply decision logic and operational precedence to Java code.
- Implement multidimensional arrays, loops, and branching statements.
- Trace code for better software quality.
Moduli hii inakusudiwa kumpatia mwanafunzi ufahamu wa jumla kuhusu fasihi ya Kiswahili. Ndani ya Fasihi hii ya Kiswahili mwanafunzi atajifunza juu ya historia ya fasihi ya Kiswahili, Tanzu zake, Dhima ya fasihi, na pamoja na namna ya kufanya uchambuzi wa kazi ya fasihi.
Moduli hii imejikita katika kuweka msingi wa masuala ya fasihi ya Kiswahili na fasihi kwa jumla. Moduli inashughulikia masuala kadhaa kama uhusiano wa fasihi na sanaa, uanishaji wa tanzu za fasihi ya Kiswahili, pamoja na mambo yote ya msingi yanayohusiana na fasihi.
The course is designed for year II university of Rwanda students. The targeted students are supposed to have have been equipped with skills in English for Specific Purposes.
This course will help students to enhance language skills in their fields of study.
English for Academic Purposes (EAP) courses provide language instruction for academic study in American universities. Language skills addressed include: listening comprehension, fluency development, oral intelligibility, reading, grammar, writing, and vocabulary development.
This module will enable learners to develop their English Language skills in an intregrated manner.
This course introduces to year one students the concepts of linear,bilinear and multilinear algebra and their applications to analytic geometry
The course aims at increasing students' performance in class and outside classrooms.
